Using Multi Factor Authentication with Foldr

In order to improve security, you should enable multi factor authentication (MFA) in Foldr.
This will mean that trying to connect from any new devices will require you to enter a verification code.

This will require an Authenticator app installed on a mobile device e.g. your phone. You should have already installed one to access iSAMS, so you can use the same one.

The school recommends you use the 'DUO Mobile' app as this allows push notifications for other school services e.g. webmail

Login to the Foldr website - https://foldr.stockportgrammar.co.uk and select 'Me' from the menu on the left.
If MFA is allowed for your account and is not active, click the slider saying Off:

Foldr - Enable MFA

When prompted, enter your network password:

Foldr - Confirm Password

Open the authentication app you use for iSAMS and add another account to scan the QR code:

Foldr - Scan QR

Enter the code generated by the new authenticator account:

Foldr - Verify Code

If the verification is successful, MFA should now be enabled and you should see a list of 'Trusted Devices'. If a device is lost, you can remove access by clicking the X:

Foldr - Enabled
